Human Tamal

Name: Tamal
Race: Human | Spiritualist | Innate Mastery, Technical Mastery, Human Tenacity
Alignment: Good
Age: 20
Appearance:
Tamal is a tall, lean, muscular build of an athlete's phyisque. His appearance is that of a man in his early 20s still having remnants of his more boyish youth. He has a handsome face, with wide honey-brown eyes that narrow when focused or serious. His hair is also brown, but is often dyed in different hair colors, dating back to his delinquent past. His hair is a bit messy, but ends in a fade that shows more of his natural hair colors. His skin and complexion are tanned from the scorching desert sun, and the occasional scar can be found on his body. Clothing-wise, he tends to wear more urban clothes. A hoodie and baggi black martial arts pants. With slip-on shoes. He looks like a weird clash of modern and traditional, something he picked up from the dual clashing experiences in his life.
Background:
Tamal was born as the former heir of the Cook Industries. A forgotten, former enterprise that once had a one-sided rivalry with the Capsule Corporation. At the beginning of humanity's "space race". Hoping to capitalize on the idea of making "space rations" for long explorations. However, their declining popularity was due to a manufacturing error that led to a couple of deaths and a few scandals, which ended with the family falling into obscurity, as their money began to steadily bleed out. Decades later, Tamal was born into the declining wealth of the Cook Family.

He was oblivious to their inability to make a comeback. However, understood that his family grew angrier and more distant. This caused Tamal to lash out at the world, becoming a delinquent who bullied other people as he grew more self-destructive. When his father was arrested for fraud of all things, Tamal's mother sent him to his grandmother Pozolee, who lived out in the Gizard Desert. His grandma, in Tamal's words, was a "bitter hermit old hag" whom he despised with all his being. However, the woman was a martial artist who had trained for decades and would not deal with her grandson's bullshit. And ended up humbled over the next five years.

The training he went through was brutal and terrifying as his taskmaster of a teacher threw him to the elements and forced him to survive. The few times he was allowed home, he was fed foods that would make most people's stomachs turn. However, Tamal, in a way, grew stronger and more resilient. He was still a firecracker and a brat. But a lot of his pent-up anger was melting away into a more cheerful, if reckless, young man with much more hope in his eyes.

However, being away from civilization for so long has made him a bit of a weirdo. And he unfortunately adopted many of his grandmother's characteristics and quirks. Making him appear as more of an oddball. Now, he's just trying to adjust to the world again. He still is a bit directionless with his life. But he has guts and a lot of spirit. And that's all that matters in the long run, right?
