Appearance: Chahan stands at 5'6" with a thin build, dark complexion, and pale eyes. Her hair is white and at waist length. She wears a large black ribbon tied behind her head and a small red ribbon on the left side of her hair. Her usual outfit is a short black and red dress with golden trims around the skirt area with her cleavage area exposed. Over that she wears a long black cloak and two black metal braces on her arms. She then wears black combat boots with golden trims. An alternate outfit she's also seen in is more simplistic in design: a white long sleeved collared shirt with black dress pants and black dress shoes to match.
Background: Chahan was unwanted, at least by her father initially. She was daughter of Hayashi Nakemura; the leader of a mercenary group known as the Ikura that took on jobs from all over the world, mainly associated with other criminal organizations, and Okowa Tenmusu, a woman that lost everything due to debt and struggled to survive. Hayashi and Okowa's relationship was anything but an actual loving relationship. Okowa and Hayashi came to an agreement of what they wanted: a roof over her head for Okowa and personal pleasure for Hayashi. When it was discovered that Okowa was pregnant, Hayashi was more than ready to kick her out on the curb. It wasn't until he suddenly had a change of heart that made him decide to let Okowa stay.
Once Chahan was born, Okowa was immediately kicked out back to the streets and kept Chahan. He had a vision for the young girl; she would be a perfect solder to his group and become a perfect source for generating income. Since then, she was under Hayashi's wing and trained to become the perfect killing machine. Chahan often endured abuse, both physical and verbal, as a way to "toughen" her up, "prepare her for the world she'll be living in", and overall keep her in place so she wouldn't try to defy his authority.
When Chahan became a teenager, she already began taking on jobs. She made her father proud, despite the abuse she had to endure. Unfortunately, all it took was a botched mission for Hayashi to see his daughter as a failure, even when it was out of her control. She was exiled from the Ikura and abandoned by Hayashi to fend for herself. For the next few years, she lived on her own and did whatever she could to survive.
Although she went as long as she did for being on her own, Chahan was eventually caught and arrested by the police. However, they've discovered that she was once apart of the Ikura. Rather than throwing her in jail, they've decided to have her work closely with the police force as means to not just track down the Ikura, but also potentially use her assets and skills to get her hands dirty on the behalf of the force. It was a gamble, given Chahan's relationship to the leader of the Ikura as the daughter with suspicions that she may still be loyal.
Chahan, on the other hand, may see this as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf and use her skills wisely to hopefully outnumber the bad she committed with good.
