Appearance: Daiko is a tall figure standing at 6'2" with a lightly muscular physique. His complexion is on the darker side of fair with various scars across the width and breadth of his figure. Dark, sharp, eyes, cut through the hearts of lesser warriors with a piercing gaze. As a rare smile can be seen on his face which more than likely spells danger for those who see it. His hair, unlike most Saiyans, is not as wild - however, it keeps its unkempt look regardless of what happens to him.
He is adorned in the standard Saiyan armor, although the chestpiece lacks the pointed paladrons. His tail is often wrapped around his waist as most Saiyans do, appearing as a brown furry makeshift 'belt'. When out on infiltration missions or not wanting to be instantly recognized as a Saiyan, he changes his wardrobe—donning a white shirt, black pants, brown boots, and a dark gray cloak with a hood to conceal his figure.
While to some he may not appear as the most imposing figure, height withstanding, his presence often gives off an unsettling feeling. While he can appear pleasant and polite his general demeanor may bother those who have a sensitivity to ki or who have a strong foresight. Like, a wolf in sheep's clothing, he is never not a threat. Sheep may cower in his wake but wolves will rise to meet his challenge. Handsome as he may be, no matter how much he dresses himself up and acts accordingly, a monster is still a monster.
Background: Daiko was born to a noble Saiyan heritage, but just by looking at him you would've never realized it. At birth, he was a scrawny thing, far weaker in strength than his elder brother - Cress. This his parents noted quite quickly which as such influenced the way they treated him growing up. While he was not quite weak enough to be carted off to another planet to rot. He was notably inferior to his sibling, a fact that was drilled into him often.
But Daiko had something about him that his own family lacked: intelligence. While strength got one pretty far, their pride often tended to blind them. They lacked the ability to think critically or to overcome their own hubris, much like the majority of Saiyan-kind. To that end, Daiko manipulated his brother - pretending to be weaker and to cower in his presence.
All the while he secretly trained himself up, reaching higher ranks in the Saiyan army by willpower and determination, and a little bit of cunning. As he threw himself into battle after battle to improve his power and standing. It was after years of playing this delicate balance of soldier and fool, did his schemes bear fruit.
What started as a simple mission to another planet, ended in a bloodbath where the aliens they intended to cull were killed, alongside his brother. With Cress dead, he then moved to have his parents discarded as well - having them set up on a far-off planet where if the volatile weather didn't kill them, the ferocious aliens would.
They were pronounced dead a few months later, leaving Daiko alone as he wanted. And after becoming the last of his bloodline he looked forward to an even brighter future. One where he would gain unfathomable strength and rule as a king of the cosmos itself.
