Forever a young woman of average height and athletic condition. Pyri looks entirely unchanged even after becoming a cyborg at the hands of the Changelings. Her sparkling, golden hair still hangs halfway down her body. Her features are just as modest and her body even more well-toned than before. She continues to be fair-skinned and emerald-eyed as well. Even her ability to inhale energy to absorb it has no outward traits, all of her modifications hidden away beneath a soft veneer.

During her first years on Earth, she lived a quiet life as Denni, the daughter of a family of swordsmen in the mountains of the north. She trained and studied alongside her many siblings as well as her parents, learning the style their family had passed down throughout their generations. As she grew into her adolescence, she even attended school in the nearest city, and enjoyed the harmony and peace of life on Earth.

All this only made her the target of Changeling bandits of the Scorch Clan. The background of her family, the training she went through, her physical conditioning, all made her a prime specimen to be converted into a fighting cyborg in service of the Changelings. They struck at night, taking her and one other sibling away. They were hidden in facilities on the Interstellar Market and, bit by bit, transformed. Strength, speed, and reflexes were all dramatically enhanced. Aging was eliminated, as was the need for any sustenance greater than water. A natural inclination towards the control of Ki was built into them, something her family had yet to discover for themselves. She even had the ability to absorb energy almost as if swallowing it, or breathing it in.

Their experimentations and work even took them to the brain. Empathy was dulled and memories of her past were made hazy, without impacting the muscle memory of her weapons and other martial arts training. She knew she had a family out there, but she didn't care. She knew the things she would be ordered to do in service of Changelings would be horrible, but it seemed silly and humorous instead. Cruelty elicited giggles instead of horror and guilt. Life in service to the Changelings became a pleasant and amusing distraction in her mind.

Maybe she was weak, and her kidnapped brother strong, as he died during the neurological procedures instead of being remade into an eagerly-obedient servant of an alien race.

In the years that followed, she was given a new name for the bright color of her long hair that amused her servants. She worked alongside aliens of all kinds she had never seen before, even the green-skinned people of Namek she had only barely heard of in the past. All of them turned into servants, like her, rewired to find their servitude comfortable, even pleasant.

Even as the talk among members of the Scorch Clan turned to violence across their homeworld, the butchering of oppressive Cold Clan, and more atrocities of their own making, it only excited her -- maybe something really dangerous and fun would finally happen?
